UMD Secure for Ubuntu

Connecting UMD-Secure wireless (University of Maryland, College Park) was such a hard task because the University IT Support does not have clear instructions.

After a hunt online, this is what I found: You need the following settings before you can access UMD-Secure.

Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise

Authentication: Tunneled TLS

Anonymous identity: anonymous

CA certificate: [select /etc/ssl/certs/Thawte_Premium_Server_CA.pem

Inner authentication: PAP

Username: UID username

Password: UID password

Save the dialog box and close it. Now select UMD-Secure to connect. Bingo!
